AnimaとIllustriousを徹底比較！違いやおすすめモデルを分かりやすく解説

AnimaとIllustriousは、どちらもアニメイラストの生成で人気の高い画像生成AIモデルです。しかし、得意とする絵柄やプロンプトの反映、キャラクターの描写には違いがあります。

「かわいいイラストを作りたい」「高品質なイラストを生成したい」と思っても、どちらを選べばよいのか迷ってしまう方も多いのではないでしょうか。

そこで今回は、AnimaとIllustriousをできるだけ同じ条件で比較し、画質やキャラクターの描写、背景表現、生成速度などを検証します。

それぞれの特徴や向いている用途も紹介するので、自分に合ったモデル選びの参考にしてください。

使用したモデル

今回は、Anima系モデル3種類とIllustrious系モデル3種類の、合計6種類を使用して比較しました。

Animaはタグ+記述式、illustriousはタグ式のプロンプトで画像を生成し、それぞれのモデルの描写や特徴を検証しています。

それぞれモデルの特徴が出ていると思いますが、選んだモデルのせいかもしれませんがAnimaは画風自体に違いがあります。

しっかり自撮りしているのは「MiaoMiao RealSkin Anima」ですね。「One obsession」も自撮りしていますが二刀流です。

あとは、モデルによって画風が全然違います。さきほどはillustriousの画風の差は少なかったのですが、こちらは3モデルとも全然違う画風になっています。

Anima二つは高いコントラストで夕日の強さを表現していますが、illustriousはすべて「夕日自体」を描いて、逆光とサンフレアで夕日の表現をしています。

ドラマチックなのは「One obsession」でノスタルジックなのは「MiaoMiao RealSkin Anima」ですかね。

学校でのシーン

さて、問題のシーンがやってきました。学校でのシーンということで体育のシーンでプロンプトを作ってみました。

動きのあるスポーティなシーンは再現がむずかしいのですが、Animaは比較的再現できていて、illustriousは・・・なんか無茶苦茶です。

まあプロンプトが悪いので修正するのですが、この修正にも苦労しまして、なかなかいいポーズが出ない・・・

やっと出たのがコレで、再現性はAnimaに軍配です。

トリミングすれば跳び箱飛んでいるシーンには見える

まとめ

今回は、AnimaとIllustriousの違いについて、実際に複数のモデルを同じような条件で比較しながら紹介しました。

Animaは、記述式でプロンプトを書けるのが強みで跳び箱のシーンなどを再現しやすい感じがします。一方、Illustriousはタグ式でプロンプトを書くので、タグの管理が楽という強みがあります。編集するときもAnimaは一文書き直さなけらばならない時もタグなので編集が楽です。

優劣は一長一短あってつけにくいですが、自分が作りたいイラストや表現したい雰囲気、使いやすさなどに合わせて選ぶことが重要です。
